With the soccer season put on global hold, and EA's FIFA series continuing to frustrate both casual fans and eSports professionals alike, Football Manager is one of the best options for sports fans to get their kick, especially those new to the series or have been put off by the game's intimidating attention to detail. However, save files created during the free week will carry over if the full game is eventually purchased. "If you're finding that you've got a little more time on your hands than normal just now, we might have a way for you to fill those free hours." reads the post, which goes on to clarify that a Steam account is required and the game will not be playable after the free week is over.
Via a blog post on the game's website, Football Manager 2020 will be free on Steam for the next week, starting 3 PM (GMT) today and ending 3 PM (GMT) next Wednesday, March 25th.
